Financial Relief When It Mattered Most

VSF funds were used to assist a veteran who was at risk of homelessness and scheduled for eviction at the end of June. After losing employment in her field, she secured a new position outside of her profession. However, she is earning less income and has been supplementing her wages with side jobs.

The veteran appeared in court, where the property manager granted her an extension to pay the past-due balance and avoid eviction. Although she made two payments toward the remaining balance, she was unable to pay the full amount.

VSF financial assistance helped ease the financial burden and prevented the veteran and her six-year-old daughter from being evicted and experiencing homelessness.
