The event brought together volunteer teams, including one from News 3, who collectively achieved 6,400 hits—a number representing the estimated annual veteran suicides. Colucci, a 20-year Army veteran, personally contributed $20,000 to the effort. The funds raised will support various programs at the center, including the creation of a sensory room.
